Dom faldet i israelsk snydesag

Så er der faldet dom i sagen mod israelerne Lotan Fisher og Ron Schwartz, som er anklaget for omfattende snyderi.

Det er EBL, som har dømt dem på baggrund af hændelser under EM i Opatija i 2014, hvor Israel vandt guld i åben række.

På EBLs hjemmeside er følgende udtalelse offentliggjort:

"The Disciplinary Commission of the EBL has concluded that the Israeli pair of Lotan Fisher & Ron Schwartz have been guilty of infractions of the laws of bridge. Accordingly, they have been banned from playing together for life, and are separately prohibited from playing in any EBL events or activities for a period of 5 years. Additionally, the costs of the investigation and hearing have been awarded against them."
